About the Role
Working with colleagues and clients on a variety of facultative reinsurance placements. Supporting the delivery of Canadian client portfolios, ensuring high-quality service and market execution from London. Providing advice to clients and colleagues on placement build, available coverage and capacity, likely pricing, potential coverage improvements and market progress. Working within the Lloyd's and wider London Market to place Canadian risks effectively. Supporting the creation and delivery of market presentations and broking strategy. Identifying appropriate channels for risk placement based on clients' market security guidelines and other requirements, exerting influence on the market to secure the best outcomes. Negotiating terms and conditions of placement with the market. Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with all relevant policies.
About you
- Experience operating as a facultative broker within the Lloyd's and/or London Market is essential.
- Strong background in reinsurance broking, with a focus on facultative business.
- Experience working with or exposure to Canadian clients, markets, or risks is highly desirable.
- Proven technical competence of client needs and the reinsurance market.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong industry network and market knowledge.
- Commercially minded with strong sales and negotiation capability.
- Proven data analysis abilities.
