Professional Indemnity Broker, Manchester. Are you an experienced Professional Indemnity insurance professional keen to bring your skills and experience to a major Global Broking house with the aim of gaining exposure to larger more sophisticated risks? Can you bring excellent technical, communication and collaboration skills with an inbuilt desire to secure the best outcomes for clients? If so, then we\’d love to hear from you in connection with this brand-new role based in Manchester but with the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis both virtually and from the office. What the day will look like

In this wide and varied role your responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of a nominated account list, involving engagement across all regions of the UK
  • Negotiating the best broking outcomes for your clients
  • Client presentations and visits alongside core client service teams
  • Understanding key insurers\’ points of view regarding their relationship with Aon, helping to exploit opportunities or address problems
  • Analysing insurance markets, tracking trends, coverage and legislation, briefing colleagues as appropriate
  • Developing and building upon market relationships with Insurers
  • Improving the quality and efficiency of broking processes
  • Assisting Aon colleagues with new business opportunities

How this opportunity is different

This is a highly visible and varied role that sits within the Commercial Risks UK PI team which is part of Aon\’s wider UK Broking operations. The team serves our regional operations, covering both our Advisory / SME and Corporate segments – as such, the broking activity spans middle size UK companies up to major UK risks. The role will also include collaboration with our EMEA and GBC Financial Lines colleagues. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and well-regarded team within Aon and contribute to the future of the Financial Lines strategy.

  • Minimum 3 years insurance, ideally with exposure and knowledge of Professional Indemnity risks
  • Achievement or progress towards Professional Qualifications
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong self-management of workload and delivery to meet client needs
