Aon are currently recruiting a UK Reinsurance Client Manager/Broker II to join the North American Casualty Treaty team in London. The UK Reinsurance Client Manager/Broker II will be primarily responsible for providing advice to clients and colleagues on the scope of coverage depending on the needs of our individual clients. Work alongside other team members to negotiate the best possible outcome for our clients, considering structure, coverage and price. Assist in production of final documentation to confirm coverage to clients.

About the Role
- Work alongside senior team members on the successful placement of new and renewal business.
- Providing a pro-active approach to ensure efficient handling of our client’s needs.
- Review client data with team members and produce bespoke analysis to produce best outcomes for our clients in the market.
- Analysing client requirements to identify appropriate reinsurance coverage and support placement strategy.
- Negotiate with underwriters to place reinsurance structures that best suit our client’s needs.
- Review and interpret contract wordings and negotiate contractual terms.
- Full-service representative for our clients, liaising with our domestic Broker, Accounting, Claims and Contract wordings Teams.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and reinsurers.
- Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company
About you
Your knowledge and expertise:
- 5-8 years’ Reinsurance experience
- Be educated to A level standard or equivalent.
- Have an excellent understanding of the reinsurance market, preferably casualty treaty experience.
- Strong experience in managing effective client relationships.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of compliance and FCA regulation.
- Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
