Join our prestigious Reinsurance Facultative Broking team at Aon as a Senior Broker, supporting our UK LATAM Power Generation portfolio.Fluency inSpanish and/or Portuguese is essentialto effectively collaborate across regions

What Will Your Day Look Like?

As a Senior Broker, you’ll play a key role in delivering expert facultative reinsurance solutions. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients on a range of Power Generation facultative reinsurance placements
  • Advising on placement design, coverage options, market capacity, pricing trends, and strategic improvements
  • Supporting the development and delivery of compelling market presentations and broking strategies
  • Identifying optimal placement channels aligned with client guidelines and influencing market outcomes
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with insurers to secure the best possible deals
  • Ensuring compliance with Aon’s Risk Management Framework and policies, including mandatory training and risk mitigation activities

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Proven experience in broking and/ or underwriting facultative reinsurance, for technical lines, Power Gen, O&G or similar.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is essential, enabling effective communication across LATAM markets
  • Strong technical understanding of client needs and the reinsurance market
  • Proven experience in broking and facultative reinsurance
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Confident networker with deep industry connections
  • Skilled in sales and marketing within the insurance sector
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated data interpretation capabilities
