Aon are currently recruiting a Team Leader to join our GBC Natural Resources team, based in London. The role is for an individual with deep technical knowledge and the ability to drive strategic thinking and strategy for complex clients within the Aon portfolio. In addition, the individual will need to have strong managerial capabilities, acting as Team Leader for one of our Natural Resources Client Management teams.

Core functional activity:

  • Provide strategic direction for key clients supporting short and long term risk management decision making and strategy.
  • Line management responsibilities for one of the Natural Resources Client Management teams including but not limited to developing/improving best practices, performance review, workload management and ensuring the team meets agreed BU targets.
  • Lead client relationship management (direct clients and/or network office).
  • Lead client meetings and manage key insurer engagement.
  • Provide technical wording advice to client/network.
  • Provide technical training/guidance to colleagues.
  • Coaching and mentoring.

Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
