Join Aon’s Risk Capital Analytics team and play an important role in shaping the future of our Commercial Risk Broking and Consulting value proposition, enabling our brokers and consultants to engage with our clients and support them in meeting their goals through our analytically empowered client experiences. This role will be based in EMEA with hybrid workstyle options.

This execution-oriented position will flex from the most mundane to the most exciting so it will be important that the colleague in this role is motivated by the vision, and able to execute on the tactical elements as required. Reporting to the Head of Risk Analytics, Commercial Risk EMEA, you will work closely with the Commercial Risk broking teams, the EMEA Account Executive teams and various other stakeholders with the aim to effectively transform how we ‘show-up’ for clients, with advanced analytics embedded in our broking product.

You will also work closely with our Risk Analytics Product teams to both understand and communicate the nuances of our differentiation and distinctive value proposition across our analytical capabilities and furthermore to help advancing them. You will be a part of executing an ambitious elevation of our product offering and our client’s experience, impacting many aspects of our Commercial Risk proposition: this will entail technical teaching, message training, client interaction, supporting and participating in orals presentations, supporting written responses to RFPs, and ultimately, public speaking opportunities.

Hence we are looking for a top communicator, comfortable talking both internally and with clients about complex analytical insights. You are native or highly professional in English, other languages as a plus.

On a regular basis, you will also support marketing activities and campaigns, major events, and colleague and client facing symposia all with the aim of promoting Aon’s reputation for excellence in Analytics. You will be highly involved in partnering with our Broker teams in identifying new training opportunities for analyzer tools and delivering training in an engaging, relevant, and effective way.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • You bring a technical background preferably a master’s degree in business/science or comparable and experience in the risk or insurance industry, preferably with broking or risk analytics background.
  • Conversant in insurance and risk topics, specifically understanding the underpinnings of insurance, risk quantification, and risk finance decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, European language other than English a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders at various levels of knowledge.
  • Excellent project management, organisational and time-management skills, with a capability to work flexibly across different time zones.
  • Excellent sales and marketing skills.
  • Motivated to contribute to shape the strategic direction of driving advanced analytical capabilities in Europe and execute in parallel.
  • A self-starter, able to manage high workload and comfortable operating at the intersection of being a learner and a teacher at once.
