Client Service Advisor – Commercial SME Insurance – Leeds
Do you have experience in handling commercial insurance requirements from a wide and varied portfolio of clients, Are you adept at building lasting working relationships with clients and insurers alike?
If so then we\’d love to hear from you in connection with this fantastic new Client Service Advisor role that will form part of our SME insurance team.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Leeds City Centre office.

What the day will look like
As a Client Service Advisor your key responsibilities will include:
- Working independently whilst supporting you team to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to each assigned Client.
- Identify potential improvements in Client risk & insurance programme and implement recommended changes for Clients if required.
- Negotiate new business terms, renewal terms, Mid Term adjustments and cover extensions.
- Preparation of comprehensive marketing presentations and the renewal report to prepare full cover comparisons as required.
- Establish and develop effective working relationships with Insurers and where appropriate, differentiating with the Client; the cover, service and industry knowledge that a specific Insurer could deliver to them,
- Identify revenue development opportunities on allocated Client accounts, using knowledge of products/services in the wider Aon community, and make appropriate recommendations to Clients.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Commercial insurance experience required, ideally gained at an insurance broker
- Fully conversant with FCA principles, procedures and process
- Good level of technical knowledge, especially in the major UK commercial insurance classes, Property, Liability, Fleet and Combined
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise work, delivering accurately and on time
- Embrace change and react positively
- Proven relationship management skills
- Must work well in a team and collaborate with others
- Experience of using the acturis system
