Reinsurance Business Analyst

Aon is looking to recruit an experienced Reinsurance Business Analyst to join our team in the UK. This is a hybrid position and can be based anywhere in the UK.

The DXC SICS Application Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the DXC SICS (Swiss Insurance Claims System) application to support business processes in reinsurance and insurance claims management. The role involves configuring the application, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with business users to ensure seamless operation and data integrity within the reinsurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deep understanding of reinsurance concepts, processes, and terminology.
2. Proficiency in SICS or similar reinsurance software configuration.
3. Experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry.
4. Understanding of (re)insurance across underwriting, claims, and accounting.
5. Knowledge of reinsurance treaties, contracts, and claims processes.
6. Experience with policy administration system implementations and GL integrations.
7. Desirable: SICS / Assure knowledge.
8. Experience managing business change and training users.
9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Skills and Experience for Success

1. Configuration and testing of SICS reinsurance software.
2. Issue resolution and process improvement recommendations.
3. Ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including underwriting, actuarial, and finance.
5. Providing training and guidance to team members.
