This is a senior broker opportunity based in our London office, offered on a hybrid basis with the flexibility to work both virtually and onsite!

What the day will look like
- In this senior role, you’ll be at the heart of Aon’s Large & Complex Accounts team for Latin America, acting as a trusted advisor to marquee clients.
- You’ll lead placement strategies, bring the best of Aon’s insights and capabilities to the table, and work closely with colleagues across the region and globally to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
- Lead the broking and placement strategy for large and complex property programmes across LATAM, ensuring optimal structures, terms, and pricing for clients.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key client relationships, translating their business objectives into effective risk and insurance solutions.
- Analyse complex risk profiles, property schedules and loss information, drawing on Aon’s analytics and market insights to inform strategy and recommendations.
- Coordinate and negotiate with global and regional insurers, reinsurers and specialist markets to secure innovative, market-leading solutions.
- Collaborate closely with account management, claims, analytics and specialty teams to deliver a seamless, joined-up client experience.
- Support new business opportunities, including participating in pitches, RFP responses and solution design for prospective clients.
- Mentor and support more junior colleagues within the broking and account teams, helping to build capability and share best practice.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Proven experience as a placement broker handling large and/or complex property risks, ideally within multinational or regional programmes.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of delivering advantageous terms, pricing and structures for clients.
- Solid understanding of property insurance markets and wordings, with the ability to translate complex risk and technical detail into clear client recommendations.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior internal stakeholders and client decision-makers across the LATAM region.
- Fluency in English is essential; Spanish is highly desirable but not mandatory, and additional regional language skills are a plus.
