What the day will look like
As part of our Contracts team, you will build a strong foundation in treaty reinsurance while taking ownership of high-impact contractual documentation from day one. This role is designed for someone eager to deepen their technical expertise, immersing themselves in reinsurance terminology, market practices, and regulatory frameworks, while learning directly from experienced industry professionals. Through hands-on collaboration with brokers, clients, and global markets, you will continuously expand your skills, gain valuable exposure to complex transactions, and position yourself for long-term growth within the reinsurance industry.
- Draft and review reinsurance contracts, attending documentation and related correspondence
- Assist brokers, customers, and markets in resolving issues related to contract wording
- Draft, review and endorse documentation for the London Market (London Slips)
- Review contract documents for completeness, accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate with broker colleagues to review reinsurance contract terms
- Contribute to maintenance of library of clauses
- Supervise statutory positions, regulatory guidelines and judicial decrees, as well as current events and industry trends affecting reinsurance wordings
- Ensure that general processing and quality of assigned accounts aligns with team guidelines
- Participate in marketing presentations to prospective and existing clients
- Gain industry knowledge by participating in industry training and mentoring programs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
