What the Day Will Look Like
As a Business Development Manager at Aon Credit Solutions (ACS), you will play a pivotal role in driving growth within the Trade Credit market. Daily, you will utilise Aon's extensive network to build a self-generated pipeline and contribute to the ACS sales strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting ACS within Aon and representing ACS in the insurance market.
- Exploring cross-selling opportunities.
- Managing prospect sales cycles and coordinating prospect activity to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.
- Understanding prospect industries and risks, identifying client needs and matching them with Aon.
- Articulating the value delivered by Aon and leading market negotiations successfully.
- Staying informed on industry trends and economic conditions.
- Developing risk financing strategies, including program design and marketing, to meet prospect needs.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and business procedures.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Consistent record in B2B sales and new business development.
- Experience in the Trade Credit market or related finance/insurance markets is preferable but not essential.
- Strong business acumen and ability to close self-generated opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ambition, drive, and flexibility to achieve individual and team goals.
- Ability to utilize insurance industry IT systems efficiently.
- Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation.
