Aon's UK Retail business is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Client Service Specialist to join our dynamic Leeds South Central team. About the role: Advisory provides risk solutions to commercial businesses across a variety of sectors within the UK. Typically, clients will be either a national or a multinational company, with a presence in no more than 10 overseas territories; the CEOs and CFOs will be looking for a local relationship with their broker, who can provide a tailored approach. Our clients typically require bespoke insurance programmes, associated risk management and risk transfer services. Besides being the insurance broker, our Advisory team provide clients with a claims service and advice on risk management and specialisms.
The Client Service Specialist is responsible for co-ordinating and leading the provision of service to their clients, drawing upon designated service teams and specialist resources as well as providing support and mentoring within a team of Client Service Advisors.
Your Role: Focused on Client Delivery & Technical Excellence
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality service for complex commercial risk portfolios.
- Work closely with Client Managers to fully understand each client's business and insurance needs, contributing expertise to service plans, reports, and presentations.
- Manage new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, negotiating with insurers to secure tailored solutions and the most competitive terms for clients.
- Prepare comprehensive marketing presentations that showcase clients' risk profiles and develop reports with clear, detailed proposals - ensuring optimal outcomes through skilled negotiation.
- Analyse client programmes to identify and recommend opportunities for enhancement, supporting portfolio growth in partnership with Client Directors and Managers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers, leveraging in-depth market knowledge to consistently deliver differentiated service and high-value solutions for clients.
- Conduct independent client reviews to ensure service quality, coverage and solutions consistently exceed client expectations.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, Aon UK policies and the Risk Management Framework, proactively managing risks and completing all mandatory training as required by the business.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment.
