Aon is seeking an experienced International Casualty & Specialty Analytics Director to join our growing team based in London. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day development and oversight of strategic analytic tools supporting casualty, energy, marine and aviation insurance broking. This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work both from home and our head office in London.

What the day will look like:

  • Reporting to the Head of International & Specialty Analytics for Commercial Risk, you will develop and oversee our strategic analytic tools for casualty, energy, marine and aviation broking.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across broking and analytics development teams to deliver strategic tool deliverables.
  • Collaborate with brokers to understand and support complex client conversations, developing solutions that meet client needs.
  • Ensure best practice in model technical governance.
  • Support brokers in key client meetings.
  • Translate complex actuarial concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for brokers, data scientists and other stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines to deliver high‑quality outputs in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Leverage analytic platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake to enhance data management, processing and analysis capabilities.
  • Own and maintain critical data assets across the organization and provide thought leadership on management information and industry insights.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Qualified Actuary with pricing experience within the commercial insurance sector, ideally in casualty and/or specialty.
  • Proven experience in commercial lines pricing (loss curve fitting, exposure modelling, or stochastic modelling).
  • Demonstrable experience building and refining pricing algorithms, tools and analytics using best‑practice industry techniques.
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and Python/R.
  • Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog or Snowflake.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
