What the day will look like

  • Define marketing strategy (specific to placement)
  • Review Submission
  • Lead quote broking / Follow market broking
  • Present terms to client / network
  • Firm Order broking (Ebix / wet stamps / email)
  • Record broking activity in market sheets
  • Review draft / final MRC
  • Send Cover confirmation
  • Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Client meetings
  • Respond to A/C queries
  • Establish and manage pipeline
  • Market Relationship Management

The team currently includes specialist brokers, inclusive of General Liability and Environmental Liability plus a dedicated Client Service Team. Our book of business has a global footprint offering tailored programmes to all clients other than those 100% domiciled in the UK or US. Our remit of clients consists of Manufacturing, Municipal, Power, Mining, O&G and Construction alongside a host of other niche areas. We encourage all brokers to be involved across the whole portfolio rather than to fully specialise which in turn promotes growth, development and elevated career paths.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a team based, client/stakeholder focused position
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to utilise evolutionary IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Experience of managing effective client/stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to interpret and use data optimally
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
