Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Risk, EMEA, this role will act as market‑facing thought leader, solution architect and internal catalyst. The role is built for a leader, someone who can shape strategy, originate and structure sophisticated deals, and elevate capability across the region.

- Position Aon as a market‑leading ART provider using deep knowledge of client, carrier and broker dynamics and competitive offerings in ART and parametric solutions.
- Identify and prioritise under‑served geographies and client segments and define a clear plan to scale ART presence and revenues in those areas with a particular focus on Enterprise Client Group.

- Support C‑suite and Group‑level conversations on risk financing strategy and capital optimisation, translating complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Work closely with Risk Capital, Analytics, and Broking to ensure ART is integrated into:
- Aon’s analytics platforms and diagnostics (e.g. Analyzer, capital models)
- The broker toolkit and proposal narrative (“one Aon” approach)
- Industry‑specific value propositions.
- Act as coach, mentor and educator across the EMEA network to raise ART fluency in local offices, from sophisticated buyers and senior brokers to junior colleagues and new joiners.
- Develop and deliver practical training and playbooks on ART and parametric concepts, structuring approaches and case studies, ensuring content is accessible and grounded in client outcomes.
- Support the targeted build‑out of ART talent.
- Work with Commercial Risk leadership to define clear, outcome‑focused objectives for ART.
- Supervise and report pipeline, conversion and financial performance of ART deals; provide transparency on return on investment for specialist capacity.
- Ensure appropriate governance and risk management for ART structures, drawing on deep underwriting and regulatory experience across multiple jurisdictions.
Skills and experience that will lead to success

- Experience working in or with a matrixed, multi‑country organisation, ideally with a mix of underwriting and broking/market‑facing responsibilities.
- Deep technical expertise in ART, parametrics, and risk financing, with the ability to convert complex risk exposures into commercially viable insurance/financing structures.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills; comfortable leading C‑suite conversations and balancing client value with carrier economics.
