Do you have experience in Lender Insurance Advisory (LIA) and can you bring deep technical insurance experience combined with experience in leading and managing advisory services for infrastructure and project finance transactions, particularly in the renewables, wider power and energy sectors? Are you keen to join Aon’s highly-respected Mergers & Acquisitions and Transaction Solutions (AMATS) practice in a lead LIA advisory/reporting capacity? What the day will look like

The primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead the delivery of a portfolio of Lender Advisory mandates (financings, refinancings and operational reviews), including managing the delivery of projects with more junior members of the team and our Krakow based project support colleagues. Project work will include:

  • Carrying out insurance due diligence.
  • Advising on the extent of risk transfer available within the traditional and non-traditional insurance markets.
  • Reviewing and advising on insurance provisions within project and finance documents, including liaison with lenders' legal and other advisors.
  • Providing post-close services including ad-hoc advice to lenders and working with our wider team to deliver annual insurance programme reviews.

Additionally, the role will involve the proactive identification of any additional transaction insurance solutions and wider advisory services that Aon may also be able to provide Lenders and Sponsors during the transaction and following financial close.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Driving project management engagement revenue growth by raising the profile of the team both externally (sponsors, lenders, advisors) and internally within Aon.
  • Building strong networks both internally and externally (sponsors, lenders, advisors), particularly in the renewables sub-sector.
  • Building and fostering client relationships.
