What the day will look like

  • Lead teams in developing and validating advanced actuarial, financial, and statistical models using PathWise solutions.
  • Drive business growth by supporting regional development and presenting modelling strategies to senior technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Mentor and develop talent, guiding junior modellers and analysts to build a strong, capable team.
  • Contribute to innovation by creating world-class modelling libraries and providing SME input into client solutions.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring regulatory changes and emerging modelling techniques to shape strategic direction.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Extensive expertise: 15+ years in the life insurance industry with deep experience in actuarial software and model development.
  • Leadership and communication: Proven ability to lead modelling teams and present complex actuarial concepts clearly to senior collaborators and clients.
  • Technical proficiency: Strong programming skills (Python, R, SAS or similar) and in-depth knowledge of market-leading actuarial software.
  • Analytical excellence: Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis capabilities.
  • Academic foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Economics, or related field, or a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
