This role combines the core responsibilities from both the Transition Analyst (TA) and Senior Business Analyst (SBA) positions within UK Pensions Administration. This role would ideally suit a Senior Pensions Administrator or Team Manager who is looking for a new opportunity working as part of a highly engaged team to identify, define and deliver improvements to Pensions Administration Teams.

If the answer is yes, then this could be the role for you.
We have a Senior Business and Transition Analyst vacancy in our UK Transformation Team with office locations in Birmingham and Sheffield. This is a hybrid opportunity with flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our office locations.
What the day will look like:
- Review current practices, analyse data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with key stakeholders to gather requirements, define objectives, agree scope, and shape solutions.
- Conduct investigations and data reviews to determine suitable process or system changes.
- Liaise with senior managers to raise challenges, agree resolutions, and maintain project alignment.
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues across teams to ensure the right outcomes.
- Specify test matrices, create test cases, and support testing for automated and manual calculation scenarios.
- Work with Calculation Programmers, Data Analysts, and Admin Teams to ensure calculations and automation are built, tested, accurately signed off and rolled out.
- Support Project Managers with coordination, governance activities, and preparation of background materials or slide decks.
- Present updates and recommendations to project boards and support rollout of changes to wider teams.
- Coach and mentor colleagues within the team and across the business to build capability and support adoption of improvements.
