We are looking for an experienced candidate to join AOK Entertains, our talent, speakers and entertainment division, as an Entertainment Sales Executive. AOK Events, accredited as being A Great Place to Work, is an award‑winning event management company. The Entertainment team works closely with other departments within the company to provide Entertainment and Speakers for client events. The department complements our role as organisers of the best conferences, parties, teambuilding, incentives and hospitality, for which we are so well known. We pride ourselves on developing long‑term successful relationships with our clients by excellent account management and project delivery.

The successful candidate will take an active role in helping develop relationships with our speakers and entertainment suppliers, venues and clients, offering outstanding customer service and helping AOK Entertains become the “go to” brand for speakers and entertainment. The role is Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., from our offices in Clapham Junction, with an option for hybrid working after successfully passing probation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Putting together proposals for clients
  • Putting together supplier and client contracts
  • Assisting with marketing content to support AOK Entertains
  • Maintaining and managing AOK Entertains supplier database
  • Be a proactive resource to AOK Entertains and help grow this part of our business
  • Play a significant role in AOK Events achieving its yearly revenue target
  • Talent scouting new entertainment acts & keynote speakers
  • Help deliver excellent events for AOK Events’ clients at the very best standard
  • Build strong and long‑standing relationships with clients and artists as projects are planned and delivered
  • Work with our event managers to ensure the bookings are seamlessly delivered
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience in a sales role, ideally within the events industry
  • Highly organised, thorough and detailed approach to work
  • Team player - work as part of a team to collectively deliver amazing events and achieve individual, department and company targets
  • Strong work ethic - this role will be extremely varied with day‑to‑day challenges. We are looking for a CAN-DO attitude
  • Building relationships - it is essential to build relationships not only with clients but with artists, speakers and entertainers too
  • Proactive, not afraid to ask questions
  • Numerate & literate
  • A strong interest in speaker talent

We’re an employee‑owned business (EOT). Monthly team socials. Access to a range of events throughout the year. Private healthcare (after 2 years). Annual company incentive trip (previous destinations include Marrakesh, Slovenia, Tenerife and Scotland) – after one calendar year of service.
