We are on the lookout for a Sponsorship Executive who is ready to roll up their sleeves and make our partnerships shine from day one. We are growing our sponsorship portfolio to boost brand love, reach new audiences, and give our customers (and AOers!) stand‐out experiences they won’t forget. From the iconic AO Arena and AO Manchester Thunder to Altrincham FC, our sponsorships put us front and centre in sport and entertainment.
As a Sponsorship Executive, you will be working closely with our Sponsorship Manager playing a big part in managing, activating, and evolving our sponsorships across the business. Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing:
- Build brilliant day-to-day relationships with our sponsorship partners to keep everything running smoothly.
- Support the Sponsorship Manager in spotting and shaping long-term partnership opportunities.
- Look after all allocation and administration of contractual rights with our sponsorships.
- Manage ticket and hospitality allocations, administration and distribution for both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Work with internal teams to help our sponsorships shine across campaigns, social, CRM, and events.
- Support the Head of Brand Delivery in keeping processes slick and efficient.
- Plan and deliver standout activations, from the first idea to the final wrap up.
- Lead support staff during events to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
- Keep AOers updated on events, tickets, and sponsorship activity.
- Be a true AO brand ambassador, championing our tone, values, and identity.
- Keep an eye on budgets, track spend, and look for smarter ways of working.
- Represent AO with confidence and professionalism on event days, even when things get busy.
A Few Things About You:
- You have background experience in a sponsorship role within sport or entertainment.
- Happy to travel across the UK and flexible to work some evenings/weekends.
- Experience working with influencers or celebrities is a bonus.
- You know how to deliver brilliant activations and events from start to finish.
- You have a proactive mindset always looking for smarter, better ways to do things.
- Strong interpersonal skills; you can influence and collaborate with people at all levels and you are a confident communicator.
- You will be confident producing clear, regular reports for key stakeholders.
- You are great at managing your time and juggling multiple projects, and of course, your attention to detail is spot on.
