We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Procurement Manager to join our Finance team, based in the A&O Shearman Belfast office.
Global Procurement is responsible for managing the firm's procurement and supply chain activities, working across all major spend categories within a leading global law firm. The department's core mission is to maximize value from our $500m+ third-party spend, manage supply-chain risks, and ensure our supply chain is supportive of the firm's broader strategic and market innovation priorities.
What you will do:
- Serve as a procurement business partner to senior leaders across the firm
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and complex negotiations across global IT categories
- Align procurement strategies with broader business goals, including ESG and innovation
- Build and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance and value delivery
- Provide category insights and market intelligence to drive informed decision-making
- Collaborate with vendor management and risk teams to ensure lifecycle and compliance excellence
- Deputise for the Procurement Lead (IT) when required
What you will have:
- Proven experience in a procurement management role, ideally within a professional services or partnership environment
- Strong track record across IT categories including software, hardware and services
- Deep understanding of procurement best practices and commercial strategy
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels
- Analytical, resilient, and comfortable navigating complexity and change
- MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
