Our Transport Administrators play a key part in our logistics operation. As part of the transport team, you will get involved with the planning, organisation and delivery of our trunking routes across all of the UK. You will be responsible for planning Red Routes, estimating time for deliveries and creating new routes to ensure deliveries are met on time.
Salary: £24,111.36 per annum
Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6:00am-18:00pm (40.25 hours per week)
Job Type: 12 month fixed term contract
Location: AO Logistics, Weston Road, Crewe, CW1 6BF
Here’s what you can expect to be doing:
- Organise and plan driver night trunks
- Day driver planning, backhaul planning and shunter resource planning
- Inputting driver hours for payments
- Plan driver holidays ensuring we have enough drivers for allocated trunks
- Ensure new drivers receive the correct training
- Uniform management
- Re-allocating routes
- Update labour providers on requirement, any movements and updates
- Check labour providers use labour cost and provide POs
- Update Training records
- Responsible for requirements vs forecast update and any actions required
