Our client is a global professional services firm renowned for operational excellence, disputes advisory, and complex transformation mandates. Over the past two years, their UK & EMEA Construction, Disputes & Investigations practice has grown rapidly, establishing a high-calibre team advising on some of the most complex infrastructure, energy, and industrial disputes across the region. As part of continued expansion, they are now seeking a Consultant (Delay) to reinforce their scheduling and forensic planning capability. This is not a traditional consultancy platform. It is entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and forward-moving, built around high performance, collaboration, and technical excellence. Importantly, the platform is not private equity-backed. It is growth-focused with long-term strategic intent.
The Opportunity: You will join a growing delay and forensic planning team supporting major international arbitrations, adjudications, and high-value dispute matters. The role offers exposure to:
- Complex delay analysis on major infrastructure and energy projects
- Expert witness report preparation
- Claims advisory and dispute avoidance work
- Direct engagement with senior experts and legal teams
With a relatively young but highly ambitious practice, there is clear scope to progress as the team continues to scale across UK and EMEA markets. This is a genuine opportunity to help build something, not just maintain an existing structure.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed delay analysis using recognised methodologies (e.g. Time Impact Analysis, Windows Analysis)
- Review and interrogate large-scale project programmes and supporting documentation
- Assist in the preparation of expert reports for arbitration and litigation
- Support senior experts in formal dispute proceedings
- Contribute to client-facing deliverables and presentations
- Participate in internal knowledge development and methodology refinement
- Engage in project advisory assignments where required
Your Profile:
- Degree qualified in engineering, construction management, or similar
- 3–7+ years’ experience in planning, delay analysis, or claims
- Experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software
- Exposure to formal disputes or expert environments desirable but not essential
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
- Motivated by progression within a high-performance environment
What Sets This Apart:
- Tier-1 calibre leadership with strong market credibility
- Rapidly expanding UK & EMEA platform
- Entrepreneurial culture with real visibility to senior leadership
- Clear route for advancement as the team grows
- Exposure to premium mandates and sophisticated disputes
