What You'll Do:
Work alongside teachers to support engaging, inclusive lessons across a range of key stages and learning settings. You'll provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with varying needs, assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or tailored strategies, promote positive behaviour, and contribute to a nurturing environment where every pupil - regardless of ability or need - can thrive academically and personally. Many schools will offer a trial day as the first step. It's a great chance to see if the setting is the right fit for you.
Role Requirements:
- Have recent classroom experience in a primary or secondary setting
- Be confident supporting engaging lessons to mixed-ability classes
- Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS
- Be eligible to work in the UK
Requirements:
- A degree in any subject (graduated within the last 3 years)
- A genuine interest in education and young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
