We are seeking a dedicated Medical Officer and Administrator to support the daily medical and administrative needs of the school. You will play a crucial role in ensuring student wellbeing, responding to medical concerns, maintaining health records, and supporting wider administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and day-to-day medical assistance to students and staff
- Respond quickly and calmly to injuries, illnesses or medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate medical records, care plans and incident logs
- Liaise with parents, staff and external medical services when necessary
- Carry out general administrative tasks to support the school office and pastoral team
- Ensure the medical room and supplies are well organised and compliant
- Contribute to a safe, caring and inclusive school environment
Essential Requirements
- Valid First Aid qualification (essential)
- Experience in a school, medical or administrative role (essential)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confidence in managing medical situations and remaining calm under pressure
- Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
