anzuk Education has an excellent working relationship with a secondary school in the borough of Hounslow (Brentford located). We are looking for an experienced or newly qualified Religious Education Teacher to join the team asap.

The school is a high performing Outstanding Ofsted Rated Secondary All-Boys School in Brentford. It is known for providing a broad and balanced curriculum where academic rigour is matched by an equally important love of the arts, music, dance, drama and sport.

The role is full time beginning in April after the Easter break. It will initially proceed until the end of the academic year but has potential to extend afterwards if mutually agreed upon. Pay is commensurate with experience on the main teaching pay scale.

Religious Education Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Work alongside the RE department and cover the coursework set in the UK curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Help to manage standard of learning and behaviour in the classroom.

Religious Education Teacher Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications.
  • Proven experience teaching Religious Education in a Secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
