Role Details
- Position: Learning Support Assistant

- Department: SRP (Specialist Resource Provision)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of additional needs, including ASC and other learning difficulties.
- Support students both within the SRP and in mainstream lessons to help them access the curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, therapists, and other support staff to implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
- Assist with classroom preparation, differentiation of resources, and monitoring student progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Have a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
- Be patient, empathetic, and resilient.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally have previous experience supporting students in an educational or SEN setting (though training will be provided).
- Be able to commit to a full-time role for the duration of the academic year.
