We are partnered with a well established, reputable secondary school in the Fleet area. They pride themselves on educating the whole child and are very supportive of their staff. They offer ongoing training and development and are surrounded by spacious grounds as well as having excellent resources.
They are now looking for a part time cover supervisor for 30 hours per week.
As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 during teacher absences
- Ensuring students remain engaged in pre-set work and maintain a positive classroom environment
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
- Supporting the wider school community when required
The Ideal Cover Supervisor Will:
- Have experience working with young people, ideally within a school or education setting
- Remain calm under pressure and have excellent classroom management skills
- Be confident, reliable, and adaptable across a range of subjects
- Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check
- Be eligible to work in the UK
