This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong administrative experience to play a key role in supporting both student attendance and SEND provision. About the Role This is a varied and fast-paced position, ideal for an organised and proactive administrator with experience in school settings. The successful candidate will monitor and promote attendance across the school, support EHCP administration, and contribute to the smooth running of the school office. Key Responsibilities * Staff the school reception desk, acting as the first point of contact and providing a professional and welcoming service. * Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring accurate and timely communication. * Monitor, record, and follow up on student attendance in line with statutory requirements. * Use the Arbor MIS to extract and analyse data, create spreadsheets, and produce reports for senior leaders. * Work closely with the Education Welfare Officer and families to promote and improve student attendance, including making calls, sending letters, and attending meetings as required. * Support EHCP administration and contribute to the wider SEND team. * Undertake general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the school office. Ideal Candidate * Proven administrative experience, ideally within a school environment. * Strong knowledge of school MIS systems (e.g. Arbor). * Excellent organisational and IT skills, with strong attention to detail. * Confident communicator with the ability to engage positively with pupils, families, and staff. * Flexible, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively. * A good understanding of safeguarding and data protection requirements.
