Bring your strong supervisory experience to ANZCO Foods Eltham. ANZCO Foods Eltham is looking for a Production Supervisor who will be able to ensure operating efficiencies are maximised and maintained. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Shift Production Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and supervision to team members to ensure production plans and company specifications are consistently achieved.
- Coordinate and allocate labour resources effectively to meet operational demands.
- Drive and maintain operational efficiency and productivity within the department.
- Ensure all employees receive appropriate training and development to perform their roles competently and to a consistently high standard.
- Manage personnel matters promptly, professionally, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maximise the cost‑effective utilisation of labour and production resources.
- Take responsibility for pre‑ and post‑operative hygiene inspections and results, ensuring all Quality Control programmes are effectively maintained.
- Foster and maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with established processes, procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Liaise closely with the Engineering department regarding maintenance requirements and any necessary plant or machinery modifications.
- Ensure all departmental documentation and administrative requirements are completed accurately and within designated timeframes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven people management and leadership skills with a commitment to positive employment relationships.
