Before Opening Work with the pre-opening sales team to build local brand awareness, perform outreach in the local community and generate sales prospects. Support social media and digital advertising activities. Develop corporate sales prospects and potential partner businesses in the local area. Support with building hype and anticipation for the arrival of an amazing new gym. Support with membership enquiries and communications via phone, email and face to face, in line with the pre-opening sales and marketing strategy. Proactively pursue ideas to generate sales prospects to maximise the day one member number of the new gym. Close sales prospects during the selling window in the lead up to club opening. Meet personal and team targets for prospect generation and sales conversion.
Continue to drive prospect generation and sales conversion, meeting your personal targets and supporting with the overall team target. Engage with members to foster a welcoming culture and support the delivery of an exceptional member experience. Perform daily checklist activities to maintain the gym facility and ensure equipment remains 'member ready'. Dealing with membership enquiries via phone, email and face to face, ensuring a high standard of member experience, providing precise information to prospective members. Conducting tours and gym inductions. Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with existing members to increase member retention and referral business. Continue to support with digital marketing activities. Planning and running marketing and member events in and out of club. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and member information in our CRM system.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the fitness or health industry.
- Lively and engaging manner alongside a willingness to collaborate and be a team player.
- Driven to meet and exceed personal and team goals.
- High levels of personal resilience to be able to maintain performance and breeze through sales and marketing 'rejection'.
- Candidates with demonstrable high performance fitness sales, charity fundraising or a performing arts background (even on a 'survival' basis) are likely to be viewed very positively.
- High standards - you will be disciplined and reliable, and will expect the same from your colleagues.
- Passion to help people and spread the benefits of wellness and being active.
