As Sales Manager, you'll own the full sales and membership journey - from initial enquiry through to join and early‐stage retention. You'll manage daily lead flow, drive conversions, reduce arrears, and work closely with our marketing agency and club leadership to deliver consistent growth. This is a hands‐on, high‐impact role for someone who loves targets, thrives on people interaction and wants real influence over a growing business. We've invested heavily in the experience: state‐of‐the‐art kit, beautiful facilities and a modern, digital‐first marketing strategy that consistently generates warm leads. You'll be selling a product people genuinely want. Last year we opened a brand‐new Anytime Fitness club on Seven Sisters Road.

Responsibilities

  • Convert warm leads into committed members through professional tours, calls and follow‐ups.
  • Own daily ClubWise call lists and sales pipeline management.
  • Proactively manage arrears, renewals and cancellations to protect monthly revenue.
  • Deliver first‐week and first‐month follow‐ups to improve retention.
  • Partner with our marketing agency to align campaigns with in‐club activity.
  • Support local events and community outreach to drive awareness.
  • Report weekly on leads, joins and retention KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure a seamless member experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales (gym, fitness, hospitality or service sector).
  • Confident closer with a consultative, customer‐first approach.
  • Organised, self‐motivated and comfortable working to targets.
  • Experience managing arrears or renewals is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills and positive, energetic presence.
  • Enjoys working with marketing teams and contributing creative ideas.
