Duties
- Lead daily gym operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Supervise and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to foster a positive team environment.
- Manage shift schedules, allocate resources to tasks efficiently, and oversee member engagement to meet customer expectations.
- Handle inquiries and resolve any complaints promptly.
- Oversee health & safety control processes.
- Support management in budgeting efforts, cost control initiatives, and maintaining compliance with health & safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in service management.
- Excellent leadership skills with prior supervising or assistant manager experience in hospitality or fitness environment.
- Proficiency with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Skilled in staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and team management to build cohesive teams.
- Deep understanding of health & safety compliance, supplier and third party contractor management, plus budget management.
