About the Role
This is a hands-on Social Creative role for a culturally plugged-in and relentlessly curious individual. You will be instrumental in pushing creative boundaries and making work that stands out in the feed across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms. We’re looking for someone hungry to experiment, try new formats, break conventions, and bring fresh, unexpected thinking to social content. You will be concepting, scripting, and shaping bold ideas that feel native, modern, and creatively brave. Working closely with senior creatives, you’ll help bring ideas to life from the spark of a concept all the way through to production, post-production, and final delivery, playing a vital role in ensuring high-craft execution across all social channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring energetic, original ideas that challenge what’s expected on social and push creative boundaries.
- Turn insights, trends, and cultural references into disruptive, platform-native creative concepts.
- Explore unexpected storytelling approaches, visual styles, and content formats.
- Help develop scripts, storyboards, content series, and social-first creative territories.
- Write short, sharp social copy and scripts with strong tone and creative flair.
- Contribute to shoots - framing ideas, shaping direction, and experimenting with new ways of capturing content.
- Collaborate with designers and editors to elevate the look, feel, and craft of social assets.
- Assist with editing notes, cutdowns, and performance-driven optimisation based on platform analytics.
- Actively track new trends, creators, visual styles, tech tools, and content behaviours.
- Bring bold references and experimental thinking that stretch what brands can do on social.
- Stay ahead of platform evolutions and identify opportunities for fresh creative experimentation.
- Partner with copywriters, designers and producers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Help build decks, moodboards, and creative rationale to support pitches and concept sell-in.
- Help manage deliverables, formats, and specs across TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Present social ideas clearly and confidently to clients, explaining creative choices in the context of platform behaviour and campaign objectives.
- Share platform and social craft knowledge with clients to help them understand how content supports their goals across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
About You
- Hands-on social creative with strong short-form video craft, confident editing in CapCut or Premiere Pro.
- Deeply engaged with social culture, trends and creators across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
- Comfortable challenging expected brand behaviour and testing new formats, ideas and visual styles.
- Experienced creating and adapting assets using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva.
- Strong understanding of platform-native storytelling, including hooks, pacing, sound and specs for TikTok and Reels.
- Confident presenting ideas and creative rationale using Google Slides, Keynote or Powerpoint.
- Collaborative, proactive and open to feedback, with a clear creative point of view.
