We are looking for a confident, energetic and genuinely outgoing person to help introduce our independent café and cocktail bar to more people in Leeds. Around 80% of the role will involve being out in the local area, speaking to people, distributing leaflets and samples, visiting nearby offices and encouraging new customers to come to our coffee shop.
You will be one of the faces of the business, so we need someone who is naturally friendly, chatty and comfortable approaching people.
Main responsibilities:
Approaching people near the café and starting friendly conversations
Handing out leaflets, promotional cards and free samples
Explaining our drinks, food, offers and events
Encouraging people to visit us without being pushy
Visiting nearby offices, businesses and residential buildings to introduce the café
Promoting our office catering, private hire and group offers
Helping us test different promotions and recording which ones attract customers
Clearing tables, washing up, restocking and completing general cleaning duties
Helping to keep the café clean, welcoming and well presented
