We’re a new coffee shop in Leeds that also serves alcohol, and we’re looking for an experienced bartender (with a minimum bartending/cocktail mixology experience of at least 3 years) to join our team.
Location: Leeds city centre
Hours: up to 20 hours per week
Days: Monday to Sunday
Shift length: 4 to 5 hours per day
No late nights
Pay: £14 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a lively environment.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the entire cafe.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes, and serving the orders.
- Handle cash & card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene at all times.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed, ensuring the bar is well-equipped for service.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years bartending/cocktail mixology experience.
- Proficient in bartending techniques with a strong understanding of drink recipes.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle busy periods while maintaining quality service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Ideally barista trained with experience using a traditional espresso machine.
