ABOUT ANYA
Anya is an award-winning HealthTech start-up providing AI-powered 24/7 support across women’s health journeys — fertility, pregnancy, parenting, menopause, and menstrual health. We are the UK’s No.1 in pregnancy and parenting support, trusted by the NHS, and reaching a population of over 7 million people across 100+ countries, with over 30% of users from underserved communities.
With strong public sector foundations, we are rapidly expanding our B2B business into private sector markets — offering employers and insurers a cost-efficient, scalable, and equitable way to support women’s health. We strive to ensure that all clients get an empathic and evidence-based service to improve their health outcomes.
THE ROLE
As Anya continues to deliver success for our public sector partners, we are seeking a Clinical Advisor. The Clinical Advisor is a senior strategic advisor who provides expert clinical leadership and oversight across the organisation. Working in a predominantly advisory capacity, they help safeguard the quality, credibility, and integrity of clinical services while ensuring the organisation remains aligned with current evidence, best practice, regulatory requirements, and the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.
The Clinical Advisor brings both clinical expertise and commercial awareness, understanding the complex landscape of UK maternity, infant feeding, women’s health, and early years services across the NHS, public health, local authorities, and the private sector. They use this insight to help shape organisational strategy, identify opportunities for growth, support partnerships, and ensure the organisation remains relevant, innovative, and responsive to changing priorities.
Working closely with the executive team and Clinical Leads, the Clinical Advisor provides strategic guidance on clinical governance, service development, digital innovation, and the implementation of new programmes. They act as a trusted advisor on complex clinical issues, helping balance evidence-based practice with organisational objectives and commercial sustainability.
Rather than managing day-to-day clinical operations, the Clinical Advisor offers high-level mentorship, constructive challenge, and independent clinical oversight where appropriate. They may contribute to senior clinical recruitment, support professional development initiatives, represent the organisation externally, and strengthen relationships with commissioners, healthcare providers, academic partners, and professional bodies.
The role requires exceptional clinical credibility, strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate the intersection of healthcare, technology, policy, and business. Through their expertise, leadership, and professional network, the Clinical Advisor helps position the organisation as a trusted and influential leader in maternity, parenting, infant feeding, and women’s health, supporting both clinical excellence and long-term organisational growth.
