We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assessor/Trainer in Engineering to join our Work Based Learning team. This is an exciting opportunity to support apprentices as they develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for successful careers in the engineering sector.
About the role:
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of engineering talent, delivering high-impact, high-quality training both in the classroom and out in the workplace. You will design engaging learning programmes, expertly prepare apprentices for gateway and end-point assessments, and carry out professional workplace assessments that meet the highest standards set by industry and awarding bodies.
You will work with apprentices across a range of programmes, including Engineering Manufacturing Technician Level 4, Machining Level 3, Mechatronics Level 3, and Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technicians Level 3.
You will champion learner success by conducting meaningful progress reviews, maintaining accurate and compliant records, and supporting recruitment through interviews, skills assessments and employer engagement.
In this role you will guide apprentices to ensure they achieve their full potential and the best possible End Point Assessment grade in a timely manner. As a trusted representative, you will promote safeguarding, health & safety, equality and diversity in everything you do while building strong relationships.
