Semi‑Skilled Joiner/Assembler

From humble beginnings as the local joiner, founded by our great grandparents over 90 years ago, we became an award‑winning builder of quality homes. The Anwyl Group — comprised of Anwyl Homes, Anwyl Land and our joinery workshop — believes buildings are more than just bricks and mortar. Hours: 8.00am‑4.30pm

Salary: Competitive

Reporting to: Workshop Manager

Location: Rhyl, North Wales

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating and assembling Stair Components together using hand and power tools to produce a high-quality product;
  • Operating woodworking machinery such as a chop saw, drills etc.;
  • Nail Guns; progressing once trained to all Joinery workshop equipment;
  • Follow Company’s health and safety procedures and regulations;
  • Other duties include general workshop and Yard housekeeping;
  • Working alone and as part of a team;
  • Occasional site installation and fitting work as required.

The successful candidate will have most of the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Joinery Experience;
  • A Forklift qualification & experience is desirable but not essential;
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and potential training;
  • Excellent work ethic;
  • Flexible/adaptable approach to work;
  • Demonstrates excellent teamwork skills;
  • Punctual and reliable;
  • Demonstrates initiative;
  • Good attention to detail.
