Are you passionate about renewable energy and experienced in solar PV systems? We are seeking reliable and skilled Solar PV Installers to be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of solar energy systems for both residential and commercial properties. This role will play a key part in supporting the UK’s transition to renewable energy by delivering high-quality, compliant solar solutions.
General Responsibilities:- Install and maintain solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, and electrical components
- Conduct site surveys, assessing roof structures, orientation, and shading
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and health & safety standards
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and resolve technical issues
- Provide customer guidance on system use and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs
- Work collaboratively with the team and report to the Senior Installer or Project Manager
- Experience installing solar PV systems - domestic and/or commercial (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Relevant certifications, such as 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), MCS Installer Certification, ECS/CSCS Card
- Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and safe working practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
