Our client is a multi-award-winning renewable energy contractor delivering high-quality electrical and sustainable energy solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Solar PV Maintenance Engineers to join our established and innovative team.
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of Solar PV systems across high-end residential, education, commercial and industrial sites. The role includes fault finding, upgrades, and preventative maintenance, working to the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain and repair Solar PV and battery storage systems
- Carry out fault finding, reactive repairs and system upgrades
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on inverters, modules and electrical components
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, HSE requirements and quality standards
- Complete job documentation, reports and timesheets accurately and on time
- Communicate professionally with clients and site teams
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 yearβs experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems
- Solar PV / EESS qualifications
- ECS Gold Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong fault-finding and inspection & testing knowledge
- SSSTS, IPAF or PASMA (desirable, not essential)
- Excellent overtime opportunities β time and a half for all evenings and Saturdays; double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays
- Company vehicle and fuel card
