Job Overview
- Position: Permanent, Full‑time – 37 hours per week
- Location: Mossley Mill (requires working across Antrim & Newtownabbey)
- Salary: £41,771 – £45,091 (subject to funding and job evaluation)
- Pension: 19% employer contribution
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective delivery of the Antrim and Newtownabbey PCSP Strategy and Action Plan.
- Provide strategic leadership, operational management and programme oversight.
- Lead the PCSP team, ensuring objectives and key performance indicators are achieved.
- Manage significant budgets and act as main point of contact for statutory agencies, funders and community stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance, accountability and robust governance across the partnership.
- Engage professionally with PCSP Members, elected representatives and the wider public.
Requirements
- Experience in policing, community safety or a related statutory partnership.
- Evidence of leadership and management of multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Recruitment Process
The recruitment will assess suitability against the seven competencies identified in the Council\’s Competence Framework.
Interview scheduled to commence week commencing 16 February 2026 and will include an unseen presentation.
A reserve list will be created for 12 months. Candidates may be offered the role as it becomes available, including part‑time, full‑time, temporary or permanent positions.
