Heritage Assistant role at Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

Salary and Conditions

Scale 4 SCP (9-13) £27,254 – £29,064 (pro rata) subject to Job Evaluation Review. Plus 19% employer pension contribution. 1 X Permanent 18.5 hours per week.

Location

Location: Sentry Hill Historic House. Post holder will be required to work across Antrim and Newtownabbey Council areas.

Main Purpose of Job

Contribute to the performance of the Culture and Heritage Section to ensure key performance indicators for the section are achieved. Assist the Culture and Events Coordinator with development, management and operation of Sentry Hill Historic House.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process will assess candidates against the requirements for the post including the four competencies identified in the Competence Framework for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. A reserve list will be created for a 12 month period and, if the post becomes available, this will be offered to reserve candidates in order of merit.
