Economic Development, Planning & Building Control Building Control Surveyor PO1 SCP (29 – 32) £38,626 – £41,511 (Subject to Job Evaluation Review in approx. one year) Plus 19% employer pension contribution 1 x Permanent, 37 hours per week Location: Mossley Mill but may be required to work at any Council site This is an office-based position and remote working is unavailable MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To assist the Head of Building Control in fulfilling Council's statutory duties regarding the administration and enforcement of Building Regulations and allied legislation and other associated functions in order to provide an efficient, effective, economic and equitable service. To ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in an effective and timely manner to meet departmental objectives.
