Leisure Sixmile & Crumlin Leisure Centre Manager PO5, (SCP 40-43) £51,356 - £54,495 subject to Job Evaluation Review. Attractive employer pension contribution. 1 x Permanent, 37 hours per week. Location: Sixmile Leisure Centre and Crumlin Leisure Centre.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

In the context of the Council's Corporate Plan, the post-holder will provide dynamic, effective and innovative leadership by:

  • Providing strong customer focused leisure facilities
  • Assisting in delivering the strategic objectives relating to Leisure Centres and associated facilities
  • Efficient management of resources including staff, facilities and equipment
  • Ensuring that all facilities within the post holder's responsibility are operationally managed to the highest possible standard

Recruitment Process:

The recruitment process will assess the suitability of the candidates against the requirements for the post including the 7 competencies identified in the Competence Framework for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. Interviews will be in April 2026. This process will include an un-seen presentation. A reserve list will be created for this post for a 6 month period and if this post becomes available either part time, full time, temporary or permanent within 6 months this will be offered to reserve candidates in order of merit.
