Attractive employer pension contribution

1 x Permanent, 37 hours per week

Location: Primarily based at Environmental Services Depot, Antrim but may be required to work at any WRM facility throughout the Council Borough.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Provision of Waste Resource Management (WRM) Services including the collection of residual and recyclable waste resource from the kerbside; street cleansing; environmental cleansing; delivery of stores items; and Household Recycling Centre functions in accordance with the quality standards set by the Council. Manage human and physical resources required to deliver the above.

Recruitment Process:

The recruitment process will assess the suitability of the candidates against the requirements for the post including the 4 competencies identified in the Competence Framework for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. The next stage in the process is expected to take place on week commencing the 20 July 2026. A reserve list will be created for this post for a 12 month period and if this post becomes available either part time, full time, temporary or permanent within 12 months this will be offered to reserve candidates in order of merit.
