ESTATE SERVICES ESTATE CONTRACTS OFFICER PO1 SCP 29-32 (£39,862 - £42,839) Attractive employer pension contribution. 1 x Permanent, 37 hours per week. Location: Antrim Civic Centre but required to work at any site within the Borough.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To support the delivery of a range of functions within the Estate Services Section as set out in the corporate plan and the annual business plan, particularly in relation to the delivery of functional, safe, modern and efficient estate assets.
- To manage staff, organising and monitoring operational aspects of the work and managing external contractors.
- To ensure accurate and timely production of all requested information as requested by the Estate Services section.
- To advise the Lead Estate Services Officer on current trends, best practice techniques and technologies in Estate Services as well as regular, up to date statistics and management information.

Recruitment Process: The recruitment process will assess the suitability of the candidates against the requirements for the post including the 7 competencies identified in the Competence Framework for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. A reserve list will be created for this post for a 12 month period and if this post becomes available either part time, full time, temporary or permanent within 12 months this will be offered to reserve candidates in order of merit.
