We are delighted to be recruiting for a Legal Billing Assistant for an international law firm. Key responsibilities: Processing of bills for London and other international offices. This will include credit notes, transfers, write-offs and other ad hoc processing. Ensuring bills are prepared in accordance with client agreements and the firm’s processes. Producing and issuing reports on non-chargeable files and processing adjustments. Ensuring that all time and disbursements have been captured on draft bills. Ensuring adherence to Solicitors Accounts Rules and UK and EC VAT regulations where appropriate. Assisting with the application of special rates. Monthly secondment billing and reporting and contingent reporting.Required Skills/Experience Good understanding of SAR and VAT rules, preferably with knowledge of multi-currency and multi-jurisdictional billing. Microsoft Office applications Excel and Word Experience of Aderant or Elite 3E/Elite Enterprise
