Some roles clip your wings.

They hand you a templated report and ask you to spell-check it. They tell you what the recommendation is before you’ve even looked at the plan. Your technical skills? Wasted.

This isn’t that.

This is a role for a paraplanner who wants to be involved, properly involved, in shaping advice, solving complex cases, and influencing outcomes that actually matter to people’s lives.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit planning team based in Manchester, where paraplanning isn’t admin it’s central. You’ll have autonomy, trust, and the space to apply the full weight of your technical ability.

The Role

You’ll work in close partnership with a team of advisers and support staff, focusing on high-quality, client-first planning work. This isn’t just report-writing — you’ll be involved from fact-find to recommendation.

• Build detailed, personalised suitability reports
• Create and analyse cashflow models using CashCalc
• Work on cases across pensions, investments, IHT, and more
• Be a sounding board — and a challenge — to advisers
• Stay hands-on with clients’ wealth strategies and goals

What You Bring

• Diploma-qualified with 4+ years’ paraplanning experience
• Curious and thoughtful, you care about why advice is given
• Skilled communicator with strong writing ability
• Collaborative by nature, but confident enough to speak up
• Familiar with tools like Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, CashCalc, and EValue (or quick to learn)
