One of our private clients requires an experienced Private PA / House Manager to join a well-established private household in London on a 12-month maternity cover basis, commencing as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a discreet and highly capable professional to step into a busy and rewarding role within a fully staffed residence.

The Role

Working closely with the principal, you will oversee the smooth running of the household on a day-to-day basis while providing high-quality personal support. The role requires strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset and a natural ability to manage both people and priorities with ease.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the principal with diary management, appointments and personal requests
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the residence and associated properties
  • Managing and coordinating household staff, contractors and suppliers
  • Organising private entertaining and social events
  • Monitoring household budgets and expenditure
  • Liaising with security, operations and wider support teams
  • Occasional dog sitting duties (small dogs)
  • Ensuring consistently high standards are maintained throughout the household

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Private PA, House Manager or comparable private household role
  • Confident managing staff and coordinating external suppliers
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator with polished interpersonal skills
  • Dog lover and experience looking after animals
  • Discreet, trustworthy and professional at all times
  • Flexible, calm under pressure and able to use sound judgement

This role is based 5 days per week in the Principal's private household.
